Willow Wildlings Forest School

Welcome to Willow Wildlings, our exciting new Forest School-inspired outdoor learning programme at Verwood Day Nursery.

Launching in November 2026, Willow Wildlings gives our preschool children the freedom to explore, discover and learn through hands-on experiences in the natural world.

We believe children learn best when they are free to investigate, use their imagination, take supported risks and follow their natural curiosity.

From den building and minibeast hunting to muddy adventures, nature trails and woodland creations, our Wildlings will enjoy opportunities to:

Our child-led sessions encourage children to embrace new challenges, make discoveries and enjoy the wonderful benefits of being outdoors.

As Zoe works towards her Level 3 Forest School qualification, we’re excited to begin our Forest School journey together.
